Short Story..

A sudden chill of sadness rushed through her body as she laid in bed that night, reminiscing on all the the things she did that was spitefully taken for granted it was like all the other nights. The salty tears left Stephanie's dark brown eyes and flowed down her pale brown face before soaking into her pillow. To her it was if she was drowning in her own tears there was no one there to save her from herself. All the people who said they cared only came around to flood her mind with their pain and sorrow. She listened because she cared for them even more than she did for herself and now it was slowly killing her inside. She gave up trying to talk to people about her pain for she saw she only spoke in vain. Even though she lived in a house flooded with family members it was as if she was isolated on an island.

Things weren't always like this she would try to convince herself but deep down she knew that was mendacious. This was her life for as far as she could remember the only thing changed is that with each new year things got worse. Life as she knew it was just not worth living but how could she let go? She knew majority wouldn't care. Why would they? Even though she was walking around and breathing it was as if she was dead to the people around her. Yet she couldn't bring herself to do the thing she felt desperate to do. A little voice in her head kept telling her she had a purpose in life that was yet to fulfill and in order to fulfill it she had to go through all these phases to make her stronger and that gave her the small hope she needed to go throughout each day. But as the nights rolled in so did the pain it was as if it transcended what she thought she could bear the thoughts of suicide came rushing in. She longed for the feeling of belonging she hated the concept of being misplaced...... (To be continued..)
